Elaine Stevens Parke, MBA, CS, CM
Elaine Stevens Parke has embodied a lifetime commitment to peace and volunteering spans 65 years. She was just 19, when, as a student at Northwestern University, she taught conflict resolution to Vicelords, Cobras, and Racketeer Chicago gang members as then reported by Time Magazine.
Later, in the 1970’s and 80’s, she joined the Nuclear Disarmament movement as a member of the allegorical peace play, “Alice in Blunderland,” performing both in the nation’s capital building and at the D.C. Zero Freeze Conference in 1980.
Since then, Elaine has spent over 30 years building her peace values movement, see www.12habits4allofus.org – that has reached hundreds of schools and communities worldwide from Pennsylvania to Rwanda and the Caribbean, sponsored by Rotary International.

Elaine Parke’s evidence-based monthly peace and values protocol have received numerous local and state awards and was named a Social Invention by the London Institute of Social Inventions.
Elaine believes that “world peace will not trickle down from the top, but must bubble up by engaging positive media messaging to reach and motivate millions around the globe to join souls by connecting with one another to resolve conflicts at every level of society.”
She adds, “Whether the media is a friend or enemy of peace and the good of all society, depends on the messages that are spread in the content of the media.”
Elaine is a popular guest speaker and the author of 12 volumes of peace curriculum and several published books, “Join the Golden Rule Revolution,” and most recently, “The Habits of Unity – 12 Months to a Stronger America.”
Elaine Parke’s 12 Peace Habits model has been independently proven to reduce bullying and violence while empowering youth, reducing conflicts, and strengthening community connections.
Today Elaine continues this mission through her latest initiative to return to the 12 Habits roots; uplifting and empowering youth in schools and thereby in families and outwards into communities. Her habit for March is “Resolve Conflicts.” Her dream is that one day soon, March will become known as International Resolve Conflicts Month – beginning in 2027 – by engaging media to ultimately reach everyone, in every language, simultaneously – worldwide.
She also leads global Peace in Action circles, confirming that peace is built one habit at a time through inspiring everyday acts of kindness and conciliation. For more information or for interview requests; contact us through this website.
